Art Theft

Art theft at its finest! I'm sorry, but this is how you look when you do stuff like this.
(But I am flattered since they thought my art was good enough to steal)

Someone sent me a screenshot of somebody claiming my art as their own on an app called Hellopet. I drew this Cory Kenshin fan art for his T-shirt design contest back in 2015.
It got pretty popular to where you can now just google Cory Kenshin fan art and it's one of the first artwork you see. The person who notified me believes that's where they got it from.

It made me laugh when I found out about this because you definitely know that the person is an art thief if they put "I drew this myself". XD Anyways, this situation reminded of this spongebob meme, so I decided to make one! Hope my fellow artists have a good laugh at this.

*I did try to contact the person, but failed. But they should know what they did is wrong since clearly they did not draw the picture. It's not like they drew the picture from using my art as 'reference' and not knowing that they are suppose the credit me. I would understand if it was like that, but it's a whole different problem. I'm happy that I put a watermark over the head of my drawings now so hopefully that would stop future incidents like this (or at least make it harder)
